Who We Are
Central Library loves our volunteers!
Adult Volunteers: We seek adult volunteers to support circulation activities, sort book donations, staff the Computer Help Desk and to lead programs. If you don't see a current volunteer opportunity posted, check back later. We do see volunteer turnover.
Teen Volunteers: We seek teen volunteers (ages 12-18) to support our Youth Services librarians and their programs throughout the year. We also periodically seek Summer Reading volunteers and Reading or Math tutors at selected times. Teens interested in community service should check our Events page for Cookies and Causes programs. These are drop-in events that do not require a volunteer application but by attending and participating, teens can earn 1-2 community service hours per event.
