Looking for an easy way to earn volunteer hours while helping out your library? We're inviting teen volunteers (grades 7-12) to help us keep our kids' play materials clean. Volunteers will spend 1 hour wiping down and sanitizing the toys used by Westover Library's youngest visitors.
This is a flexible drop-in opportunity, so there's no commitment to return every week. Participants will earn 1 volunteer hour per shift.
Registration Required. Please register separately for each event occurrence.
Teen Volunteer Qualifications:
- in Grade 7-12
- Reliable and dependable
- Enjoys working with children and families
- Communicates well with both library staff and patrons
- Able to work on short-term projects with guidance; requests follow-up information as needed
