Teen Volunteers:
- May assist Youth Services staff with a variety of library programs, including Kids Club, storytimes, and other programs as they arise
- Volunteer opportunities on program days will include setting up and cleaning up the program room, as well as assisting children and adults with projects
- Preparation of materials for programs may include cutting, sorting and labeling materials
- Pull books for library book lists and displays. Assist in maintaining the Youth Services area
- Tasks may include tidying shelves and cleaning in "Arlingtown," the Library's play area
- Other assistance throughout the Youth Services area as assigned
Qualifications:
- Entering Grade 7-12 as of September 2026
- Reliable and dependable
- Enjoys working with children and families
- Communicates well with both library staff and patrons
- Able to work on short-term projects with guidance; requests follow-up information as needed
