- Assist the Youth Services librarian as needed.
- Tasks may include craft preparation, cleaning toys, finding books for displays, shelving books, and tidying the children's area.
- Volunteers can expect to use cleaning supplies to wipe down the toys if assigned.
Participants will earn 1 volunteer hour per shift. Shifts will be scheduled for a one hour block between 4-6pm on Tuesdays.
Qualifications:
- Entering Grade 7-12 as of September 2025
- Reliable and dependable
- Enjoys working with children and families
- Communicates well with both library staff and patrons
- Able to work on short-term projects with guidance; requests follow-up information as needed
