Storytime Access Volunteer (Shirlington)

Description

Description: 

  • Storytimes are popular and attract lots of children and strollers!
  • Direct patrons to stroller parking areas
  • Alert patrons when the room is at capacity
  • Inform patrons of other storytime opportunities

Types of Volunteers:

  • Adults 18+
  • Older Adults 55+

Time Commitment:

  • Wednesdays (family storytime): 10 - 11:15 am

Qualifications: 

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Confident
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enjoy children
