Volunteer: Children's Area Assistance - Teen Volunteer - Shirlington

Help the Shirlington Youth Services staff tidy up the Children's and Teen Areas before the library closes. Volunteers can expect to straighten books up on shelves, put away toys in Arlingtown, and select books for display in the teen section.

Participants will earn 1 volunteer hour.

Looking for an easy way to earn volunteer hours while helping out your library? We're inviting teen volunteers (ages 12-18) to help us keep the children's play area clean and welcoming! Volunteers will spend 1 hour wiping down and sanitizing the toys and board books used by Shirlington library's youngest visitors. This is a flexible opportunity, so there's no commitment to return every week.
